The Violence Has Got To Stop!!!

So this will probably be one of maybe three from this series. I just had a thought, for all the violence entries, I'm going to title them, and add a number to them. To see how many I'll write about in 2009.

Let's start with Nova Henry. Name sound familiar? Well to a nine month old girl, Ava, and to a three year old son, the names are too familiar. Nova Henry, 24, was found dead in her home Saturday January 24th. Her family knew something was wrong after she didn't show at her grandmother's funeral. Her Grandmother! Her daughter Ava was also shot to death in the home. Nova's three year old son was not harmed but was found in the home.

Now, riddle me this. Who could shoot a child? Are you kidding me? I mean, it's one thing to kill a child period but when you are able to point a gun at a child.... That's just sick! And the fact Ava was only nine months is absolutely ridiculous! The baby could not have done anything to her killer but hurt their ears TEMPORARILY!!! Now the three year old is left without a mother and a sister and reports are not saying whether or not he saw the deaths of his family.


He could be traumatized for life. Now, how this story got so big, so fast. Nova Henry was the mother of Eddie Curry's, current NBA New York Knick's player, three year old son. Yes, the one who was found alive in the house, unharmed. The young boy was found with blood soiled clothes on from apparently trying to get his mother to wake. The police are trying to ask him questions with the help of a Child Psychologist.

If I would have heard Eddy Curry two weeks ago, I wouldn't have known who he was. But he has been on some stations with a sexual harrassment suit out on him, get this, from his former MALE chauffer!!! You can read more about that in the next post!

But anywho, Nova Henry's former boyfriend is now a suspect. He was arrested and taken into custody in Michigan City, Indiana. Now, this dude was also her former attorney. But, she did have a protection order against him filed in 2007. A spokeswoman for the Chicago Police Department said she could neither confirm nor deny the arrest of the ex-boyfriend.

I just want to know why. Why on Earth would he feel he had to kill a woman and her baby? Why?
